Circadacare Receives North East Digital Technologies Launchpad Award in Partnership with Northstar Ventures

We are proud to announce that Circadacare has secured funding through the prestigious North East Digital Technologies Launchpad award in partnership with Northstar Ventures.

The award will accelerate the development of groundbreaking AI within our flagship productg, Heleos, which combines advanced circadian lighting technology with AI-enabled remote monitoring to improve quality-of-life and provide peace of mind to both users and carers.

As a Newcastle-based start-up, we are committed to enabling individuals to live safely and independently for longer and improve quality-of-life across all stages of care. The UK, like many developed economies, faces challenges from its rapidly aging population, placing significant strain on our already stretched health and social care infrastructure.

Heleos changes the paradigm by offering a unique, affordable, all-in-one solution that combines AI-powered behavioural and wellbeing monitoring invisibly within a light bulb that provides market-leading, automated circadian lighting. The embedded sensors provide personalized wellbeing insights and alerts to carers, while our interoperability platform allows for data exchange with platforms already in use by caring professionals.

Based at The Catalyst in Newcastle Helix, we're excited to be part of the region's growing strengths in digital healthcare innovation. This Launchpad funding will help us elevate our offering with new machine learning tools to enhance our capabilities to provide meaningful insights to carers.

The award supports our vision to become the leading global provider of affordable care technologies that protect user independence and quality-of-life, cementing the UK's role in this rapidly growing global market.
